Few Days

Been back a few days now and wow that was a good move. The storm arrived today at about 11 and it is pretty intense. It hasn't stopped raining. Not really that cold but a lot of water. Serious local flooding and very wet. A quick big thanks to Rich, Sam and the 3 stooges for a fun and very cool stay in their home. Like always much appreciated.
A spin up Tokai yesterday with Tom as well. Man alive was that good. 4 weeks and being back on the bike was simply magical. Cheers Dave 🍻
I hope there will be a few more rides before I depart on my next adventure. 🤞
Otherwise it has been relatively quiet and non eventful. My new battery has been attached to the bike and it will get its once over next week before the gates open. As mentioned I have purchased a new bag of sleeping so that should keep the shivering nights at bay. I will pack way more selectively. Less is more but more of the right stuff. I am a little acclimatized to the cold but will make sure that the right garment is there when needed. I am also more confident of the campsite availability. Things are opening slowly but they are opening. This is a major boost to my tour.
So again a quick thanks to all those who have helped and supported me for this journey. Nothing goes unnoticed and I am grateful for all the advice, time or any contribution whatsoever that you make to me in any way, shape or form.
I bid you all goodnight and prosperity for the coming days. Keep warm and safe.
Peace 💙
