As It Goes

I took a few days to myself and was just enjoying my surroundings. It was pleasant. More than that it was really good. A place I have been to before and no doubt will visit again. Doing a lot of thinking which is probably not good. I never find the answers to my soul searching but I enjoy the process of going over the details. 

I am back on the road today heading towards one of my most peaceful destinations. I am on my way to see the Little Karoo. It is a sort of up there, round a few corners then more up, yes then more up then I will be at the view I want. Cederberg behind me and the Karoo in front of me. Pretty much where I feel most at home. In a very small one but home it feels like. There are lots of emotions and memories in both places. 

Kind of like when you go out to a club you used to visit frequently when you were 20. You are happy and feel good but know there is another world out there that you have to attend to. 

I am sitting up near one of the mountain crests looking at what I can only describe as tranquility. Not a breath of wind. Not a single noise. Just me looking out.

So this was just a quick update to remind myself that you don't always need answers. Slow down with the questions and just enjoy what you have at this moment. The future will happen, the past is done but this moment is what you can hold dear and cherish right now. It is not going anywhere and you should hold it for as long as you can. It is absolutely the perfect timing of your life. Don't waste it.
